RSS Feed on my website
Stupid question, but I didn’t found a good answer.
I want to display an rss feed, I did it with <code> <link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” href=”?rss=1” title=”<txp:page_title />” /></code> but that dont work.
What is a good plugin/correct way to use and activate rss feeds.

Re: RSS Feed on my website
Try <code><link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” title=“RSS 0.92” href=”/?rss=1” /></code>

Re: RSS Feed on my website
I got the rss icon in my browser but when I hit it I go to a page that doesn’t exists.
I am testing local on my mac with MAMP, could that be the problem? (Didn’t have any problems before).
Or should I do something more than adding the link?

It’s not a good idea to use absolute urls, it makes moving sites harder than necessary.
There are tag-builders in the admin-side on the presentation-tab. You should use those…
For example:
<txp:feed_link flavor="rss" limit="10" />

Re: RSS Feed on my website
When I use it <code><txp:feed_link flavor=“rss” limit=“10” label=“RSS” /></code> it wont do a thing.
My browsers says that the page is not there. (Safari on mac)
Do I need to activate rss or something?

Re: RSS Feed on my website
What is the specific link the tag returns?
What is the specific error message you get? (blank page, error page, browser error message…)?
What is the specific url of your front page?
What is the url-mode you are using? Do other links work, like article-permalinks, section pages etc.?

Re: RSS Feed on my website
This is my website link: http://localhost:8888/wab3/ (it is local)
The link it returns <code><a href=“http://localhost:8888/wab3/rss/?limit=10” title=“xml_feed_title”>rss</a></code>
My browers says he couldn’t patch me thru because it is localhost. (That is maybe the problem)
I use section/id/article

Re: RSS Feed on my website
You missed this question:
Do other links work, like article-permalinks, section pages etc.?
If they don’t, your problem is unrelated to feeds, but to clean urls. There is a FAQ item about 404 problems.
If the other links do work, please post your diagnostics.
