Skimming Textpatterns URL's.

I am running textpattern on a site, I have a toplist running on the site atm I am only sending out traffic VIA the toplist. I want to be able to skim the images on the blog posts I make eg: place the url for the toplist in the <txp:article_image /> tag itself but have failed doing so at this point. Is there a plugin around (I have searched them all many times already) or can someone point me inthe right direction.
