article with multiple page breaks

Does Textpattern really have any method of breaking one single article across several pages easily and smoothly? I was reading the whole “pageby” article… but wasn’t exactly sure if that’ll do the trick. I want to have an article that can be broken into multiple pages, and then hopefully an easy way to have pagination as in <Prev Page 1 2 3 4 Next> at the bottom for just that article. Thanks for the help…

No, pageby won’t do what you’re after. I’m fairly certain there is at least one plugin that will let you do this, so check the resources site.

Re: article with multiple page breaks

Ya… I was checking out another CMS app and I say they just had a simple thing that was like {pagebreak} and I had to assume it may be easy enough to have TXP implement something like
< txp: next_page >
or something ya know…
