About using download tags
I am trying to show download statistics of specific file on my template, but confused with the txp download tags. Isn’t it possible to use txp:file_download_downloads tag with file id? Like;
<notextile><code><txp:file_download_downloads id=“5” /><code></notextile>
If it’s not, is there an alternative way to make the number in red below dynamically change with every single download of the mentioned file?
<notextile><code>File id5.zip has been downloaded <span style=“color:red;”>5</span> times since 08/2006<code></notextile>
Oh, by the way, probably you have already figured out that I am a newbie :)

Thats just what I need, thanks for your help. I would like to ask another two, if you don’t mind.
<ol><li>Is it possible to show download statistics of a single file category (statistics sum of all files in a specific category)? Although I know that it is possible with TextCastles’ <a href=“http://textcastle.com/article/53/downloads-statistics-plugin-update” title=“Downloads Statistics plugin”>download statistics plugin</a>, I prefer a built in solution if available.</li>
<li>Is there any chance for showing download statistics sum of selected two files?</li>

Both are not possible with Textpattern as-is, you’d need a plugin.
