4.0.4 almost there?
I see that SVN has been quiet lately, I’m itching to get 4.0.4 on more of my sites. The changes to the admin and the new RSS feed appeal to me.
Is there a list of things left to do before a release comes out?

Patience, my friend. ;) I don’t have a list at hand right now (and I would sure forget stuff if I tried to make it up on the spot). But the list of things to do shouldn’t really be the deciding factor for you. If you can help yourself when it comes to dealing with development versions, go ahead and run svn, if you have live-sites and want to rely on better support wait for a release. There’s a good reason for the dictinction, and I think it’s better to not muddle with that distinction.

Patience is my middle name ;)
With all the talk lately of 4.0.4 coming soon and for developers to test their plugins, I thought we were getting closer to a release. I am running a live site on SVN and I have 5 more sites that can benefit from the new additions to the core.
In my case it’s about synchronizing 1 site with daily SVN changes or 6 with changes sprinkled here and there, that’s why I asked what was left to do.

http://svn.textpattern.com/development/4.0/ from the connect to server under the go menu in the Finder works on my Imac (Ver 10.2) you have to copy in the htaccess seperately, or at least I have to, but the rest downloads fine.
