How do I use 'real' forms

Hi folks, I made this form and would like to know how to stick it into TXP to process it in php.
I have come to a hurdle as I have no experience with forms or php.
Textpattern has another kind of ‘form’ and this makes it difficult to search for help on this subject.
So far, I’ve installed a newsletter plugin and looked at zem contact, but I am looking in all the wrong places.
Some advice on how to do this would be appreciated.

Yeah, you should be using zem_contact_reborn (or similar plugin).
