The Strip Joint

Site here

And sorry if you are disapointed, I thought it might be slightly different subject matter when I got the gig!

It’s my first attempt at a textpattern site, let me know what you think.

I know there are a few errors in there, one due to the thumbnail form creating unordered lists for each set of thumbnails. If there are two thumbnails it breaks them with a li but it desn’t put them in for a single thumbnail, just leaves it between the ul and /ul. Once I get another image in there it’ll be fixed.

Re: The Strip Joint

Very nice site. Love the colours!

One thing: I noticed the footer being 1px to the left on the right side. It’s tiny, but it’s there (I’m on IE 6).

Re: The Strip Joint

Great job. Love the logo and colors. I also noticed the 1px shift in the footer (on Opera 9).

One suggestion: lose the duplicate links in the footer. They’re really not needed.

Good job Charlie!

Note: I also noticed the 1px shift in the footer (on Safari).

Re: The Strip Joint

Hi all

Thanks for the feedback, after tearing my hair out trying to find out where this 1px shift is coming from I’ve found it – it’s a badly chopped up photoshop image! no problems with the html/css at all (well, not as far as the 1px shift goes!).

Just need to re-chop the .psd file and we’re away.

Thanks again for the feedback

Re: The Strip Joint

Lovely site Charlie! I noticed another problem for you to shuff through. Your pop ups on the door images for instance, are popping up uncentered. It appears that the pop up is the right size, but the image is centered dead middle of the right hand edge of the pop up. Sorry :( to be the bearer of more debugging news. I am on xp-pro / ff latest build. Other than that the site layout looks great :)
