database wierdness after mysql server rebuilt

I am hoping someone may have some ideas.

I have been adding content to an existing textpattern site that has been functioning perfectly. Today whilst I was adding content the server that holds the mysql database had some undisclosed hardware issues.

My web host managed to get it back but told me that the server needed to be rebuilt later in the day but I could finish adding the content.

After the server was rebuilt the site seemed to operate fine with the exception that the content added in the last day or so fails to display. If i go into the admin I can see all of the articles and any changes. I can also go direct to each page and they will show up fine. The main problem is that pages like this one fail to show any content. As mentioned one of the articles that should be listed like here can be viewed by the direct url.

The other strange thing is if I try to add a new article, the date is changing to June 26 2006. When I write a new article it showing the correct time and date and it only changes once it is saved. Changing the date to the correct date. Again, this was not happening prior to the rebuild.

I have an sql backup prior to the changes and one after the changes (exported from phpMyAdmin), but there is eight hours work in between.

I have also checked my textpattern templates and they look fine and do not appear to have changed. Everything worked fine prior to the system rebuild.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know very little about mysql.

The issue has finally been resolved. After repairing the database and the host telling me to rebuild, he finally checked out the date issue. Afet a part was replaced in the server they set the wrong date.

Everything is working fine.
