[request] LIVE CHAT tools integrated into TXP?
Hello
Is anyone aware of a plugin that will let me integrade/embed a “live chat” feature into my txp site? I want customers to be abe to chat to me online right from within the contact page. Does anyone know how I might achieve this?

bas_shout is publicly viewable by any site visitor isn’t it?
I’d need on that keeps the conversation only between 1 visitor and the admin. A private sales chat, that’s the idea.

I’ve used sales-n-stats with an x-cart project… they have a limited function free version and a full scale one also… it requires the placement of a js handler in your main templates, but that’s about it. Will definitely buy it for my txp site when it is up and running.
FYI most of the configuration is done via URL filters on the chat prog side, so for example if you have clean URLs on you can tell the program which sections you are tracking and as folks move from place to place you can see their status, engage in conversation etc.

Ok. I’m testing this one : <a href=“http://www.craftysyntax.com/” title=“Go to the site”>craftysyntax</a>. It’s seems very interesting : admin panel, customer support with multiple operators, multiple departments and multiple languages.

I don’t really remember how I incorporate craftysyntax… but I remenber it need lot of server side resources.
Otherwise, you can try meebo.com a very nice solution and very easy to use (just a few code lines to put into a template, and it works).
