Moved to localhost and having problems

I copied my site offline today to use on a local install and although I am able to access my admin panel, I am unable to open the front page successfully.

I am receiving this error message:

Warning: include(/localhost/textpattern/publish.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in G:\xampp\htdocs\mysite\index.php on line 27

Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening ‘/localhost/textpattern/publish.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.;G:\xampp\php\pear\’) in G:\xampp\htdocs\mysite\index.php on line 27

Fatal error: Unknown function: textpattern() in G:\xampp\htdocs\mysite\index.php on line 28

If anyone could point me in the direction of fixing this, I would be very grateful. I don’t have much hair left to pull out!

Re: Moved to localhost and having problems

It seems to me that you need to update the entries in the txp_prefs table in your DB. Just look for the appropriate entries that have paths/URLs in them and change them to reflect the new location of your site.

Re: Moved to localhost and having problems

What is the txpath setting in your config.php? It should be a filesystem path, and it looks like you entered “localhost” there, which is wrong. It should be something like “G:\xampp\htdocs…”
