Textpattern isn't creating section folders...
Hello again everyone-
In my setup I’ve got it so that the permanent link mode is set to “/section/title”, but textpattern isn’t creating permanent links… I have the post titles showing up on the main page, where I’ve got them aggrigated, but you click them to go their permanent links, and I get a not found error. And, after checking it out via FTP, the folders are not being created. Any ideas?
Adam

Textpattern doesn’t create any files or folders. FAQ :)

To elaborate, Textpattern pulls (most) everything from the database, and dynamically generates the urls. The folder “structure” is an illusion to help with human readability.

That makes sense, but it’s not dynamically generating them either…

The ‘not found’ error, does it show the textpattern logo at the bottom? If not, then perhaps mod_rewrite isn’t working in the webserver or your .htaccess file is gone (normally in the TXP root folder).

Oh, I didn’t think about the .htaccess… Thanks, that fixed it!
