Category link question

I’m putting together a tennis website and I’m still have problems trying to create links from a category title -

I have sections (Juniors, Mens, Ladies, etc), within these are categories (Middlesex Summer League, 1st Team, 2nd Team, Events, etc). Each match is categorised using 2 categories (eg 1st Team + Middlesex Summer League). To show the relevant articles on the Section landing pages, I use categories and section tags:

<code>
<txp:if_article_list>
<table>
<tr> <th scope=“col” abbr=“Date”>Date</th> <th scope=“col” abbr=“Versus”>Versus</th> <th scope=“col” abbr=“Venue”>Venue</th> <th scope=“col” abbr=“Score”>Score</th>
</tr>
<txp:chh_article_custom section=“mens” listform=“cltc_fixture_table” category=“1st-team&middlesex-summer-league” />
</table>
<txp:else />
<txp:article form=“cltc_article_form” />
</txp:if_article_list>
</code>
</br>
That works fine except that the league match listings are long tables, so take up loads of space. Instead I’d like to have a main heading (Fixtures:) and then list the league names (Middlesex Summer League, National League, etc) on the section landing page which in turn links to it’s table. Basically, moving the fixture tables down a navigational level.

I’ve searched the site (and Mary suggested using the chh_article tag), but still can’t solve thia problem. Can anyone offer a solution?

Thanks.

Re: Category link question

Hi all,

Looking at my post above, I may be over complicating things.

Basically, I want to show just a Category title (without its list of articles) which then links through to a table. Each article posted under the relevant catagory makes up a match schedule – hence the table.

It’s the first part that’s throwing me (how do you specify a link to use the correct styling form), a conditional tag may solve it but I’m really struggling – any help would be really appreciated!
