input field size

An html question.

I’ve got an input field and it needs to be bigger / wider. What’s a good way to control width and height? Here’s what I’m trying to control.

Re: input field size

all you should need is:

input {
width: ##px;
height: ##px
}

Just put that in your stylesheet and should be good to go.

Re: input field size

I didn’t know height and width works with input fields. I just give them padding, and to make it wider, I use the size attribute on the tag.

Re: input field size

mary has answered this to me once before regarding the size of a comment input field, maybe that helps you, too.

A hole turned upside down is a dome, when there’s also gravity.

To clarify: don’t modify files, see the first comment of that link. :)
