r1629: RSS 2.0

Go nuts on this one.

If you can find any article or link data that makes this fail to validate, please post examples. Likewise for the Atom feed.

Re: r1629: RSS 2.0

The head section line still reads out as 0.92:
<code>
<link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” title=“RSS 0.92” href=“http://hcg.valleyhaven.net/rss/” />
</code>

Re: r1629: RSS 2.0

It’s a language string. I’ve changed it to “RSS Feed” for en-gb and en-us.

Re: r1629: RSS 2.0

zem, can the rss.php and atom.php files be copied over to a 4.0.3 site or does it rely on other enhancements that have been made for 4.0.4?

Re: r1629: RSS 2.0

I believe it relies on some other changes.

Re: r1629: RSS 2.0

It would be nice to be able to drop it into our 4.0.3 sites for now until 4.0.4 gets out the door.

I’ve been playing with feeds lately and your changes are well needed, the current feed is not really too compatible with certain scripts. The order of the entries at times comes out strange and there is no date to see when an entry occurred.

I looked at the SVN diff but didn’t see anything, at least from my limited knowledge of Textpattern, that would stop it from working in 4.0.3.
