Where are my articles?

When I post an article, it’s supposed to make a directory and actually have a physical place for it, for the permlinks, right?

So how come I can’t find any of my articles on the server in this fashion? The link to comment on any articles is broken because of this.

Thanks very much for any help.

//EDIT:

The permlink is “http://alka.li/main/article/2/alright-actually-back” for example, but that doesn’t actually exist.

No, no directories are created is just Apache mod-rewrite magic.

Check for your htaccess in the directory intowhich you installed Textpattern (looks like /main)

You should at least make some basic effort to show that you areinterested in solving the problem on your own. A good place to start would be in reading through the FAQ, that is linked in the top part of this page. You will find an answer there.
