Search won't work? Basic Question
Before i begin I just want to say I searched the forums and could not find a recent article with a similar problem. I apologize if I overlooked something though.
Here is the problemhttp://69.73.162.81/~jcloseto/ if you click on Franksarea and use the search it just takes you to the default home page. I know it is a simple fix but I don’t know what it is to do. I am trying to piece together from the list of tags in textbook to see if I can make it work but I am at a loss.
I currently have the default search results tag in franksarea. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Search won't work? Basic Question
The search input uses the default page template, so you have two options:
- A better Textpattern Search
- Use a conditional on the default page. EX:
<pre>
<txp:output_form form="dtd" />
<!—output doctype, if you’ve got such a form (not req’d) —>
<txp:if_search>
<h3>Search Results</h3>
<txp:article limit="40" />
<p>
<txp:newer>Previous Results | </txp:newer>
<txp:older>Next Results</txp:older>
</p>
<txp:else />
<!—display regular homepage—>
<txp:article form="home" />
</txp:if_search>
<txp:output_form form="_footer" />
</pre>
If your page is pretty complex (ex: multiple conditionals), you might be better off using the plugin glx_if.
