That’s Textile.
It replaces all x-es with “multiply signs” at all multiplications it occurs. Textile is not aware of the third dimension, though, so it replaces just the first “x”.
Maybe Dean C. Allen was a member of The Flat Earth Society when he created Textile ;-)

What OS do you run in that brain of yours?
Catnip, looks like you ought to think about turning textile off for that one, or placing the dimensions in a custom field where textile is not run? (I assume).

Sorry if I will destroy a carefully crafted ilusion, but I know that because I had the same effect previously. And because I tend to read manuals, even the last paragraphs.

Depends on the season: Cold beer and G’spritzer by summer, Glühwein during the frosty periods.

I beg to differ. I would even replace the second “x” with a multiply sign manually, as this is the correct way of specifiying dimensions anyway. We’re all just too lazy to use it properly. That’s the prime reason why we use Textile, btw.

Just a suggestion, but MS says it’s layout complete and I had the few hacks I was using break in 7. So, I took Shea’s advice and moved IE-specific style declarations to their own sheet. Included with a conditional comment, it’s actually made life easier: Any adjustments for IE can be made there w/o having to hunt them down again. :)

If the final release does go bad, the underscore/-9px margin on #skippy (which is causing the drop, methinks) wouldn’t be read by IE7.
