single item lists
hi there,
i am using txp 4.0.3 and it seems that textile cannot deal with a list
if it contains only a single item. maybe this is a bug, but before reporting
it as such, i thought i’d ask around here…
simple test:
* test
generates:
<code>
<ul>
<li>test
</code>

It needs an empty line after the list and it should work like so

ok, i was a bit hasty. here is what happened.
i had a long paragraph and there was a linebreak inside it (pressed enter).
it was not intentional, so it is fixed. but now the question arises:
how do i create paragraphs inside a list item? is that possible?
the textile equivalent of
<code>
<ul>
<li>bla bla
<p>another bla bla
<li>
</ul>
</code>

I think that paragraphs inside a li element is semantically incorrect so I would think that textile would not support it. If you really wish to do it you could try
<pre>* something here<p>no line break</p></pre>
but I do not know if it will work

as far as i know, paragraph inside list item is perfectly legal..

Just to confirm, yes, the list item is a block level element and may contain any block level or inline element.
