category in the url
hello everybody, i’ve just one question..
i’ve tried to put this rewriterule in the .htaccess (from scratch, not the txp one, just to try):
RewriteRule ^racconti.html$ index.php?c=racconti
to show category pages like static page, but it didn’t work (i put obviously RewriteEngine On and RewriteBase /), all that i got is a txp-personalized 404 error.
ah, index.php?c=racconti works.
why? or it isn’t possible to do that?
edit:
it’s weird…
i tried putting http://www.mydomain.blabla/index.php?c=racconti in the rewriterule and it works (but it shows index.php?c=racconti in the url and not racconti.html)

mmh, a couple of days ago i used that plugin to put fake .html at the end of title, but i had some trouble.. and so i’ve successfully added .html in taghandlers.php.
now i’ve tried for this and it worked well just putting /racconti.html in url and selecting section and category.
thank els and graeme :p
