Forum is slowing down

Over the last few days it’s been slow going on the forum, there’s been a page lag where they used to just pop.

Is this an indication of more users using the forum or is the server at Textdrive getting hammered lately?

No idea. That happened to me too the other day. It was zippy, then got damn slow, then was zippy again.

This is where I wish TextDrive had proper stats so I could at least guess at what’s happening. If it keeps up I’ll shoot an email to Dean, but he could take some time getting back to me.

Seems to be fine now, I guess it’s just spurts of activity from other sites.

I see Textpattern is getting a new server home.

Anyone know the new specs, etc?

I know that we’re moving to the new Robson (we’ve been on the old one). That’s the extent of my knowledge on the subject. :)
