Which simple board would be best to use for comments?
punBB or Vanilla? I can’t seem to choose between the two. I don’t need much so other boards I came across didn’t do the trick.

Hi Shaliza,
I think it depends on how you want to style the board to fit in with your site. PunBB at present, this will change in the 1.3 version, looks more like a traditional forum, where Vanilla gives you a different look out of the box.
I use PunBB for commenting on the hcgtv domains, click the link in my signature.

Not only style, but the very way it works. Vanilla doesn’t have a lot of stuff common in other forums, which can be a “good” or “bad” thing, it depends upon what you want/need.

Re: Which simple board would be best to use for comments?
Well, since it’s just for comments, I don’t want the forum to actually look like one.
I remember that when I looked into Vanilla, it didn’t really look like a forum, but more of an article site. And then when you click on a link, you see that the comments at the bottom is something like TXP.
It looks like Vanilla is the one, but I’ll wait until punBB 1.3 comes out to see what they have.
Thanks!
