Having a problem with search_results_count
I wanted to put a heading at the top of my search results, followed by the number of returned results and then the results themselves
I can get the header and the search results no problem, but the results count is giving me problems.
If I place the tag under the header it never displays the count, if I put it in the search_results form, it displays the count with every item in the results (one too many for the first item).
The only place it works properly is if I put it at the bottom of the page after the list of search_results.
Am I doing something wrong or is this normal behaviour? I’m guessing that the value isn’t available until after the results are available for display but the page parsing is done first so I’m not getting a value. Frustrating.

It’s normal behaviour. <txp:article pgonly=1 /> will help. Read zem’s article.
