section_list displays 5 sections but i have only 4

Hello

I’m stuck with the following problem.

txp:section_list form=“plainlinks” break=” |”

outputs something like this:

a href=“http://localhost/textpattern/index.php” Home /a |
a href=“http://localhost/textpattern/index.php?s=section1” section1 /a |
a href=“http://localhost/textpattern/index.php?s=section2” section2 /a |
a href=“http://localhost/textpattern/index.php?s=section3” section3 /a |
a href=“http://localhost/textpattern/index.php?s=section4” section4 /a

so far so good…

now my question(s), i have only four sections and i wonder where the first link comes from and why it links to the front page. Is this some kind of defult page? How can i rename the link and how can i limit acticle_custom section=”…” to this section??

Hope you can help me, though the questions might be stupid….

The manual explains how the section_list tag works.

The front page section is called ‘default’. article_custom section="default" is what you’re looking for, but doesn’t make any sense because the default section can’t contain articles.

Hi again,

i’ve tried to deactivate the default section with include_default 0 and i figured out that is was already dectivated, if i set the include_default to 1 i get the actual default page added. now confusion is perfect. where is this home link coming from if it is not the default page and how do i get rid of it?

Are you sure there isn’t a <txp:link_to_home /> tag on the page before <txp:section_list />?

BTW <txp:section_list /> doesn’t have an attribute ‘form’.
