New TXP Site: Professional British Choir
Just completed work for Tenebrae, a professional British choir.
Website: Tenebrae
Plugins used:
- ako_nav for the main navigation across the top
- jnm_audio to insert the music onto the front page
- rss_admin_db_manager for database backups
- rss_suparchive for the homepage, the news page, recordings and the reviews page.
The diary just pulls information out of a database that was present before I transitioned to TextPattern (previous CMS’ include Joomla and Plone).
Theme was written by hand, inserting the textpattern elements in where appropriate. On that subject, is there anything more beautiful, from a designer’s perspective, than the TextPattern presentation system? I’m in love.
I’m pretty happy with the site.. constructive criticism more than welcome.

Re: New TXP Site: Professional British Choir
Looks great and sounds sublime! The only thing I’d change are
1) the menu link reading “Forum” – clicking on it you more or less expect a forum, which is not what you get.
2) Not so keen on the yellow-on-white link mouseovers. They are a bit hard to read.
All the best,
Will
