Crockery - should we test it?

Over the last couple of weeks, all the changes in the stable branch has been merged into crockery.

Do you want us to start testing the crockery branch or is it better to spend our time on the stable branch?

No.

Crockery has always been merged with the dev branch, it was overdue for a catch-up, that’s all.

Re: Crockery - should we test it?

No.

I’ll qualify that:

By all means, try it out, see what you can see. It’s more stable and functional than it was even a few weeks ago.

You will find problems. We’ll need to collect those at some point, but not with the same urgency or dilligence as with 4.0.x. Many of them are known issues, things we just haven’t got to yet. This forum is not the right place – we’ll get things mixed up otherwise, and it’s important we don’t overlook problems in the 4.0.x codebase.

If there’s enough interest, perhaps we could make a separate forum for Crockery testing and discussion.

Then I’ll just concentrate on the stable branch for now.

If you should setup a testing forum for Crockery, then that would give us the go-ahead signal.
