recent articles list link errors

hi, i have this put into my default template

<code><recent_articles label=“Recently” limit=“10” break=”<br />” sortby=“Posted” sortdir=“desc” ></code>

It shows the list of recent articles no problem, but when I click on an article link I just end up getting a “page not found” error. Why would this be?

something wrong with my archive creation settings?
