Can visitors Rate my Posts like at digg.com ?
You’ve seen the “digg it” post rating system at www.digg.com right?
Well is there a way to do that with my posts on my txp blog?

Haven’t used digg.com or <a href=“http://www.workingidea.com/lab/tcmrating”>this plugin</a>, but maybe that’ll work for you.

Hi,
Can anyone get the above plugin to work (thanks for the link Elenita)
I’ve installed and activated the plugin and have inserted the below 2 tags inside an article (just for testing). But I get errors:
Here are the tags:
txp:tcm_rating_num
txp:tcm_rating_form
Here is the error:
error: rating database doesn’t exist.
Thanks for any info. I’ll ask the author to contribute to this thread

OK I’ve now managed to get this plugin to appear. See here:

I have put the 2 available tags within the body of the article about invisible skateboards.
However, the text “This article hasn’t been rated” appears in the top-left of screen whilst I’m still looking at the article list. Surely it should only appear once I open the actual article?
Also, when I click on one of the ratings within the post, nothing happens. When I referesh the page there is still no rating.
Perhaps I have to put the tags inside a form rather than in an article body?

I tried putting the tags inside forms instead but got the same behaviour as above
any clues?
