TXP loses data
My forms, pages and various content seem to be reverting to past versions. I assume this is a problem with my host, but curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Re: TXP loses data
That’s awful strange. Do your tables need repairing?

Re: TXP loses data
I have no idea how to do that. All I know is that its gotten worse.
- Articles show up on my live site but not in the admin’s article list (so I can’t edit them)
- I create a form and wonder why it isnt working when it turns out the form has vanished
- Pages revert to past versions
I am in the process of backing everything up, but it turns out I have lost hours of code…argh

Re: TXP loses data
This FAQ has some pointers to information about checking and repairing tables.
Textpattern will check tables for you if you select High detail on the diagnostics page.

Re: TXP loses data
The easiest way might be to install the rss_admin_db_manager plugin and repair the tables there. Having said that, phpMyAdmin provides more options

Re: TXP loses data
THanks colak. I installed rss_admin and indeed there was some overhead on my tables. I have repaired them and things seem to be going smooth (so far)
