Change default 'event' shown when Admin tab clicked
Could I request a change to the default page that is shown when the ‘Admin’ tab is clicked.
At present it goes to the Preferences (event=prefs) page. Could it instead go to the Site Admin (event=admin) page.
This would make it much easier to give ‘normal’ (low priv.) users access to change their password. Thanks.
Also, in moding this locally, I noticed the following in txp_admin.php… in the send_new_password() function it has the require_privs(‘admin.edit’); line which aborts the email process (unless you have admin.edit privs of course). I don’t think this line should be there – maybe a bit of overzealous security checking? :-)
