translations
I’m not sure if I should post this here or under “Internationalisation”. As this is some kind of feature request, I post it here…
There are some strings that have never been translated:
on the page tab
- default
- archive
on the form tab
- article
- comment
- file
- link
- misc
- default
on the live page
- First Post
- Search
- Browse
- I enjoy your site very much.
- Donald Swain
on the organize tab
- Hope for the Future
- Meaningful Labor
- Reciprocal Affection
- Site Design
on the Advanced preferences tab
- custom1
- custom2
on the section tab
- about
- article
All dates in the admin interface use the english date format.
Would it be possible to make these string accessible and editable via the localisation interface?

Re: translations
This would over-complicate installation and other internal workings far more than reasonable:
- The default data is just supposed to be samples, not something you have to keep and use. (For “Search” and “Browse” on the live page, that’s a limitation of the tags involved, they just use the “label” attribute.)
- Things like pages and forms rely upon their names being certain values, for keeping certain ones from being deleted (“default”,“error_default”, etc) and for supplying default forms for certain tags (“plainlinks”, “default”, etc).
