How to center object such as youtube videos?

I tried to center a youtoube video in my txp blog: so I’ve put the “p(centered). “ in front of the “< object …” code of the youtube video.

But it didn’t help. It still aligned on the left side, although the “p(centered).” code is not visible in the displayed post.

Any suggestions why this didn’t work?

Thanks a lot for your kind help!

Try putting this in your css {

#columnselector embed, #columnselector object
{
text-align: center;
}

I think you may have to add a margin: auto; in there.

Re: How to center object such as youtube videos?

According to your answers; The page’s css file needs to be modified in order to center objects in an article?

I am sorry to ask this as a very n00b, since I not a programmer, but a simple content provider on my page…
