Re: Interesting review of TXP

Old review, but I like the ‘unclustered code’ kudos ;)

Re: Interesting review of TXP

It was a nice review, unfortunately Scott has now dumped Textpattern for Wordpress . :-(

Cheers

Re: Interesting review of TXP

It seems a lot of his issues will be resolved in the crockery release of TxP.

One interesting point raised by Mary is that we can already link templates and forms to files, but the link she posted is broken..

Broken Link

Anyone got more info on this? While I am loving TxP, the edit window leaves much to be desired…

Re: Interesting review of TXP

Thanks for the link!

My plan was to implement this with marios’ brilliant TXP Bundle for TextMate but it turns out TextMate still doesnt do SFTP.

Sigh … there goes my dream of having multi-tabbed access to forms and templates

There is a transmit bundle and also a mysql bundle from Bastian Terhorst (That allows you to edit txp tables directly from within Textmate, haven’t tried any of those yet)

Re: Interesting review of TXP

You can use the “edit in textmate” menu item to edit the textareas straight in Textmate from safari. Or using Mozex in firefox.

Re: Interesting review of TXP

Okie … Looks like there’s a problem with mod_rewrite in Scott’s website!

The link for link template 2 file is <a href=“http://www.woods-fehr.com/index.php?id=8”>here</a>. And the download link is <a href=“http://www.woods-fehr.com/index.php?s=file_download&id=11”>here</a>.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Vasanth
