r1418 - code fonts
Awesome, looks much better when editing a template.
A few things:
- the fonts on the tabs decreased a bit, a little harder to read – I like the rollovers.
- the code fonts could go just a tad larger or can we dynamically increase them without increasing the whole admin area?
- the text entry fields fonts increased on certain fields, drop downs and on larger textareas it seemed to have stayed the same.
Maybe you’re not finished making adjustments, just writing down my thoughts.

A monospaced font would also fit nicely for the plugin code editing textarea.

Browser differences are a possibility, though they shouldn’t be because the starting size remains the same, pixel-based size. But who knows, sometimes browser differences aren’t logical. I’ll look at it again.
I wouldn’t worry about it too much, though: you can now easily customize the admin style using a plugin, as these textareas have all been given ids (in an earlier revision).
No idea what you mean about rollovers, they didn’t change. ?

That’s a matter of Courier versus Courier New, which I just discovered. At the same pixel size, Courier is much bigger (about twice as big) than Courier New. I wonder if we shouldn’t drop Courier and then adjust the font size larger?

I noticed it too. I think it’s a matter of changes regarding cascade. I’ll get on that.

No it’s good to hear fair and contructive criticism from reasonable folks while it’s being worked on, as opposed to later when it’s not been looked at for a while (so it’s still fresh in your mind). :)

Robert: Ah yes, I’ll get on that too.
