Is it possible to create a new kind of user in addition to the default

I would like to have a user that can write articles and upload photos, but not publish, just post pending articles.

Is there any way to add additional users with custom permissions?

Are you familiar with editing the <b>admin_config.php</b> file in the /textpattern/lib/ directory of your textpattern install? If not then <a href=“http://textpattern.org/tips/280/editing-user-priveleges”>this article</a> should get you going ; )

Fantastic! Just the thing I was looking for.

Now, is there an easy way to change “freelance” to some other name?

Just answered my own question and discoverd where:-)

It is in textpattern/include/txp_admin.php
