Help - moved directory but sections don't work now.
I carefully followed the instructions to move Txp from a subdirectory to the main directory but I’ve missed something or done it wrong. I get the front page but I can’t link to sections – now before you remind me that I hard coded the links – there is something else – when I go to the Preferences tab and try to change my front page it appears to work (ie the submit button works) but the same page appears – it’s as though I’m talking and my section page is not listening. Other things work fine – I can create entries and file them, create and delete sections. Am I updating a file in the wrong place? Old directory is renamed. I don’t know how to fix it.

Did you also change the paths in config.php?

Go back to messy urls. Does everything work now?

Thanks – yes I did change the config.php. I read some other posts and checked my htaccess file – on the top directory level it was empty so I copied the contents from another htaccess file in a lower directory and everything is working again.
Thanks for your suggestions. Now can you do the same for parenting challenges?
