chmod 777
Hey y’all.
I need to chmod 777 my /images/ directory of my website, but I am not sure how to do it. It seems pretty simple, but I am having a bit of trouble.
Thanks!

Re: chmod 777
Do you have access to the shell at your web host or a ftp program that can change permissions? Either can chmod for you. You won’t be able to do it within Textpattern, though.

Re: chmod 777
I do not have shell access, but I do use Fetch for FTP.
Is it possible to chmod in Fetch? I see some info under Ownership & Permissions, but don’t see anything about chmod.
Thanks!

Re: chmod 777
Yes it is. Choose the folder, Click Command+i and a dialogue window should appear where you can chmod

Yes, it is. If you right-click (control-click) on the images directory, choose Get Info, and expand the Ownership and Permissions area, you should be able to chmod just fine.
…and Colak beat me to it.
