photoblog "prev" & "next" buttons on top of image?
has anyone seen this done with txp before? the main photoblog image will be split in half with the left half being a mousover for “previous” and the right half being “next”? ive seen it 100 times before but now that i’m looking for it i of course cant find a single example. i was hoping to snoop around and see how its done, does this ring any bells? i know it would be done with layers etc but i dont even know how to get started, looking for a little “inspiration” ;)
thanks

I think Doug Bowman is using CSS to stretch his the links from the thumbs on that page over the main image. Kottke and Eliot Shepard use map/area tags plus javascript to define imagemaps.

I dunno how it’s done but the Lightbox plugin achieves it (presumably with js). Thread is here
Cheers

It’s just CSS. Look in the photos.css stylesheet.
