3 things... (resolved)

is there a way to have a page for the header, left and right column and footer and then add some php include code so i dont have to change each page whenever i decide to make a change???

and…

i tried to edit some css so the comments text is a little larger but then the entire articles text increases as well…… anyone know how to change the comment text but not the article text??

and…

how do i go about setting a different background and border for each comment posted??? meaning like having a blue background for the 1st comment, red for the 2nd comment and blue for the 3rd

Re: 3 things... (resolved)

1. Use forms.

2.

ol.comments li <—— selector for each comment (in my almost default 4.0.3 install)

3. see above (check out Jon Hick’s comment trickery over on his site as well…..http://www.hicksdesign.co.uk/journal

…then put “comments” in the id?

Don’t need to. the CSS class “comments” is already applied to the list automatically by Textpattern. :)

You might want to check out either ajw_comment_alt or zem_nth.
