Melancholy Theme

At the request of a friend for a theme I got to playing with some left-over code and a scrap of an idea and came up with the following. I have to bundle it up properly but here is a sneak peek.

<a href=“http://www.ve1cbf.ca/txpdev/” title=“Melancholy Theme for Textpattern”>Melancholy Theme</a>

Comments and suggestions ( polite ones! :p ) welcome.

Re: Melancholy Theme

Watch out with using that 1px dotted line.

It renders dashed in IE.

Re: Melancholy Theme

NyteOwl, it seems you finally transformed your self into a porting Expert.
This looks nice, despite its quite intense colors it had a pretty positive impact on my depressive mood.
(Not like the Theme Name actually suggested)

regards, marios

Re: Melancholy Theme

Yeah, something about those colors, as Marios said. Same positive impact here!

Re: Melancholy Theme

Walker: Yes, I had thought of that. Not sure whether to elave it or make it 2px.

Marios: Thanks for the kind words. I started with some of the code I was going to use to port City and got to playing with it. I discovered a couple of glithces today I need to fix before it can be “released”.

Well it was a bit subdued when I started it. I personally still find it so except for the header graphic but perhaps a name change is in order :)

I think I’ll rename it Purple Haze in honour of Jimi Hendrix. :)

Re: Melancholy Theme

I really like the colors. Not being original, I know, but I really do :)

Re: Melancholy Theme

Make sure, you don’t loose those color-values, I must investigate this, once I get the chance.
