Re: Browsercheck, TXP Spreadshirt Shop

The items that are getting cut off are within a table element. This is incredibly abnormal behavior for Safari (or any other standards-based browser). Essentially, the last 100px on every page are getting cut off.

Safari (newest) – cutoff
Firefox (newest – OS X) – Fine
IE 6 (on XP) – Fine

Re: Browsercheck, TXP Spreadshirt Shop

Thanks guys for the info. I consider Safari to be the most serious problem.

I am no Mac user so if some MAC Safari CSS wiz would please be so kind to take care of the problem.. i would be very thankful.

Re: Browsercheck, TXP Spreadshirt Shop

This is a shot in the dark but the cut-off problem may not be CSS related. There’s some javascript being called at the bottom of the page (an ad-handler I think) that may be the culprit. I remember running across this same problem in IE on someone else’s site.

I’m not a Mac user either so I have no way of testing this myself, but keep it in mind if some brave soul seeks to solve this.

Re: Browsercheck, TXP Spreadshirt Shop

I think whatbrick is right, the last table row, that holds the add-banner, holds a deprecated center element,inside that one there is an intermingled jungle of tag-soup, with empty single quoted strings and many other exotic relics of the browser wars.
The invisible links that measure the click-through rate, seem to confuse Safari, since they declare zero not calculate the height.
I’m at a loss myself but what I would suggest, in order not to step on the serpents tail, to give that last table row a height attribute.( The add should be standard size 60). So just make it hundred or something by changing line 504 to that:
<code><table align=“center” border=“0” cellpadding=“5” cellspacing=“0” width=“600” height=“100”></code>

Besides that the page will not validate due to a couple of un-encoded ampersands and some empty alt attribute.
You could change that as well .

I hope that helps, I have spent some time on this, the markup is confusing.

regards, marios

Re: Browsercheck, TXP Spreadshirt Shop

Alex,
i can’t get the JS to show up when I do everything locally, but try this, I’m not a guru, but it made some difference, and I’d be curious to see if it helps.

<code>
td center { height: 100%;
}
</code>

Re: Browsercheck, TXP Spreadshirt Shop

Hi, i just added Matthews solution (td center {height: 100%;}) just for a try.
Can some Mac/Safari user test if the problem persists?
