HTML/CSS editor for Mac OS X

Textmate is my favorite editor for now, I try to unlock more of it’s hidden powers, but it requires a lot of time.
I think it’s worth it though, since I haven’t seen any other editor that is that much customizable, and then you want those little smarties though together.
About TopStype Pro for windows, yes, that’s really a pitty, TM can’t beat it yet here.
I think the best solution then here, is just network file sharing and using both apps, according to your tasks at hand.
(I’d need both for testing anyway)

Slightly different question : what do you use as file comparison tool ? I have tried FileMerge, but it doesn’t quite compare with PSPad for Win…
Any input there ?

I like KDiff3 . It’s pretty good for handling 3 way merges from SVN. Haven’t used PSPad though so I don’t know how it compares.

I have purchased skedit as well, it does the live editing that TM currently does not support.
But TM has a Ton of more features, that need to be unlocked, plus all the ones that vifort mentions above.

Two weeks ago I decided that TM definitely would deserve a Bundle with it’s own Language Grammar, so I made one.
You can download it here<a href=“http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?id=16884”>A textpattern bundle for TextMate beta version</a> and help evaluating it a bit , since I really liked to improve it to do even more.

[I am no Mac OS user so i do not really know anything about these editors … though sounds great what you did marios.]

Anybody out there who can put all these links together and write a short article for TXP Mag on Mac Editors?

@alexandra, I’ll see what I can come up with, although that could take some time, since I am putting together the next version of the Bundle, which fixes all the HTML problems (already done, but I’d like to spice it up with some extra stuff)

I’m going to switch to Mac really soon: my MacBook is on its way :D So now I finally can try all the programs you’re recommending. On Windows, TopStyle Pro is one of the best editors I think. On Mac…I hope I can give my favorite very soon…

I’ve thought of making the switch, then I hear all the horror stories with the new Intel Macs.

Would be nice to combine my WinXP and Debian machines into one.

Networking may be and file-sharing through a Lynksys NAS setup(NSLU2) with a couple of harddisks.
Those run on Linux, and can be done whatever you can think of . There’s lots of trirdparty Firmware out there
I still have to take a closer look at how I can setup those. (Already purchased two of them for 78 Euro each)

Try to find all the remaining G4 stock as soon as you can, those are the best ones, little heat, more stable.
Don’t forget, you can easily open a Mac mini and replace the memory module, hard-drive, whatever you want, without breaking the warranty.

This has some disadvantage for Software (If you need advanced graphic apps), but you can not always have everything.
For a testing Server (Or even a Production Server) it should be perfect.

Yeah, a G4 would make a nice LAMP development machine. I was looking at a Mac mini to place it near the entertainment system to hold the mp3’s, images and videos.

BTW, I was just testing this little neat Feed parser plugin, that uses Simple-pie, take a look at what <a href=“http://www.consking.com/delyriumlab/”>Mac-Mod</a> has to offer.

There’s others as well, but I couldn’t find an Atom feed that works well.

What horror stories? I’ve had a macbook for about 2 months now. It runs hot, but I haven’t had any technical problems…
