RSS downloading
Hi,
I have small problem.
On my web I have RSS Feed. Browsers start to download it – yes, I have read this post http://textpattern.com/faq/181/firefox-tries-to-download-my-rss-feed
I don´t know, what I can do. My RSS URL is http://www.egyptologie.cz/rss/
Can anyone help me? Thank you.

Re: RSS downloading
it’s supposed to be doing that. Browsers are not meant to view rss. One option is to take the feeds out of the body totally and just have them in the head
ie
<code><link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” title=“Rss Feed” href=“http://www.egyptologie.cz/rss/” />
<link rel=“alternate” type=“application/atom+xml” title=“Atom Feed” href=“http://www.egyptologie.cz/atom/” /></code>

Why?

Re: RSS downloading
It might be because some of your characters might not be utf-8. Maybe I’m wrong but I had this problem recently and the solution pointed to that.

Re: RSS downloading
I get the same error, though it work in my feed reader. Try fixing up your feed and see if that does it.

Re: RSS downloading
Ah crap, I screwed up my link. Sorry. I meant to show you a link to a validator check of your feed.
