Tamarack Cellars
Input welcome.
Still waiting for an eCommerce solution so I can transition from the yucky form-based “store” section.

Shopify?. All the web is full of buzz over them these days.
An ommision I encountered: Reviews leads to http://tamarackcellars.com/reviews/test for the Cabernet Franc, and from there via Other reviews of this varietal to a 404 condition. NB the excess /tamarack/ in the URL.

Re: Tamarack Cellars
Very nice site, mrdale. Tour isn’t working in Opera 8.52 and IE6 either.
Does manger (about page) have a special australian meaning that I just don’t happen to know, or is it a typo?

Re: Tamarack Cellars
I really like the look-and-feel, but I have two quick comments:
1. The “Wines” tab should be second. Since (I assume) it’s the most important section of the site, I find it counter-intuitive to have the link all the way to the right.
2. Not sure if you know (or care) but there is a 1px gap between the tabs and body in Opera 8.53. Looks awkward.

Re: Tamarack Cellars
Ok guys, Thanks very much.
I got to get better at checking all my links when I move a site from a subdomain to it’s own domain.
Everything should work now, including the tour.
Except for the 1px gap which I gotta fix for safari too.
Thanks again, BTW this is Great Wine

Hello Dale,
the site is looking great (IMO)!

You could try using an automated link checking tool like Xenu’s Link Sleuth, it’s great for this kinda stuff. For example, it noticed that your ChapmanCordova branding at the bottom is a link that leads to a password protected page. All the other links are looking good.
BTW, the Spring Barrel Tasting excerpt is on the homepage a month after it happened. Must have been good!

Re: Tamarack Cellars
Nice and very clean. I especially love the tabs, the tree watermarks on the sides are also a nice touch.

Very lovely site, easy to navigate. It has quite a soothing effect on me and no, that’s not the wine talking ;)
