Re: TXP Tags inside CSS docs

This had come up in the past as well, I remember at least three topics discussing it.
You might also look into lucanos experimental file, from here.

I didn’t check the content of the file though, and I don’t remember where the relevant post is.
If you google for CSS and lucanos you ‘ll get at it may be.

regards, marios

Re: TXP Tags inside CSS docs

@ Inspired,

That’s not a bad solution actually.
Still, I would prefer not to use inline styles at all and keep all my presentaion data in CSS. I am not trying to use CSS for content, but basically I want it to dynamically style the content in question. This way, instead of having to use inline styles at every instance, I can target a div’s descendants to intelligently swap out the images using just one line of CSS code.

@ marios

That link is dead. Googled and found another thread on TextDrive, that link was also kaput. Seems lucanos no longer supports thisfile. Ah well… Hopefully someone here will take up the cause for this righteous plugin.

Re: TXP Tags inside CSS docs

FInally found that thread, Marios

http://forum.textpattern.com/viewtopic.php?pid=106624

The only caveat is that this hack wont be supported, so ultimately a plugin solution would be preferable.

Re: TXP Tags inside CSS docs

Just for anyone wondering – the TXP CSS hack is supported (by me). The link provided above was just wrong (someone forgot to put in the “http://” before my server name, so it thought it was a local file…

Go to http://www.lucanos.com/css_php.zip

Cheers!
Luke
