Your database is very likely not “mysql”, that’s your database management system; the install wants to know your database’s name.

It’s MYSQL. I’m getting my host to reset it to see if it solves any problems.

Uh, “mysql” is a database internally used by MySQL, so chances are you’ve got a conflict.

That particular error means that either this: neopopart_citizi is not your user name or the password you entered was incorrect

(or, as a long shot, localhost is not the name of the server your DB is on….this is uncommon with most hosts and probably not it)

When entering the MYSQL information the login, password, database, and table names I created from thin air?

Databases and users are not created by the install program, you need to create them yourself or use whatever was provided to you by your webhost.

How does one find out the name of their database (or create one)? I think this is my major malfunction in installation?

The procedure for that is usually about the same, but the details vary. Check your webhost’s documentation (like a FAQ, etc).

You read the documents provided by your hoster. And if you can’t find it, you ask them. Or if you have a login to something like phpmyadmin, you can look it up from there.
