How to get rid of "Posted by"
Hello
here’s the page in question
That page is in the “mp3” section and is made from a txp page called “mp3”
Here is the bit of code that is displaying the article:
I’ve removed the brackets just for this forum because they prevented it from being displayed in this post.
=======
div id=“content”
h3 txp:permlink txp:title / /txp:permlink /h3
div class=“post”
txp:article
/div
========
My question…. what part of that code contains the “Posted by” bit of text?
How do I edit that bit of code?
thanks
mark

Re: How to get rid of "Posted by"
Presentation>Forms>default – remove/edit <txp:posted /> by <txp:author /> (Textbook defaults)
When <txp:article /> doesn’t have a form attribute, it calls the default form. You can also create your own modified forms too, then have your articles use them as a template (ex: <txp:article form="myform" />).

Re: How to get rid of "Posted by"
Thanks
I only want to remove the “posted by” text for this single section.
So I need to create a form that removes the “posted by” part and then reference this like this:
<code><txp:article form=“mp3”/></code> code?
I just tested and that worked fine.
OK, this is cool. Today is my 2nd day at getting to grips with txp.
:)
thanks

Y,
Take a look at the FAQ. It answers many similar questions.
