Google can't see my pages ???

Hi,

My website is published with textpattern :
CMS Textpattern · 4.0.3
Design by Andreas Viklund
Ported by Philosophy

This is the structure of the website :
/index.html |—————> /french/index.php (Textpattern) |—————>/english/index.php (Textpattern)

I use :
Google sitemap
Google sitesearch

I have created in ‘index.html’ hard links to all my pages (ex: http://www.mydomain.com/french/main_page)

All my URL are very simples with only keywords (ex:http://mondomaine.com/english/downloads)

In spite of all my efforts, google says that pages in sitemap do not exist ????????
I have no pages indexed in search engines except ‘index.html’.

Is it just because my site is very new ? Or is there any specific action i should do with Textpattern to make my Textpattern pages “reachable” to search engines ?

In plus, it seems that search engines can’t “see” the content of articles ??? Is there any way to make the content be indexed by SE ???

Thanks in advance,

Stephane.

Textpattern works very well with search engines. There is nothing special you have to watch out for.

If you have a problem with the google-sitemap, your best bet is to ask in the support groups for google-sitemaps.

Yes, I definetely agree that TxP link mode is so friendly… So, probably it is not about TxP. robots.txt, newly setup site?

Re: Google can't see my pages ???

Well,

My website is online since april 2006; when i check the google cache, i can only see my ‘index.html’ page.

I have 3 sitemap.xml files :
1) root directory
2) /french/ directory
3) /english/ directory
(my website is in french/english)
I have 2 Textpattern installed (i wanted to use to completely separated websites instead of customizing sections)

I have submitted my sitemaps several times;
I have inserted in my ‘index.html’ hard links to textpattern pages to be sure they would be followed by Google or other search engines.
But still nothing …

I really don’t understand what is going wrong with my site …

Articles are completely ignored by search engines; there is asolutely no result based on keywords in articles .

Thanks to all for your help.

Stephane.

Re: Google can't see my pages ???

One precious information :

It seems to be necessary to insert hard links to pages in index.html so google can index the website content. In fact, i first tried this with a single page, and i can see this morning that this page was added to google cache during the last visit of googlebot.
I think that the next refresh of google cache will contain all hard links recently inserted, hope so.

Stephane.
