Foreign characters and Textile

I am working on a site in Spanish and looking at the source code of the pages, I can see that the accents and tildes are not converted to HTML entities. Is there a way that Textile or some other plugin can handle this? I am trying to avoid having my clients type in html entities.

Re: Foreign characters and Textile

Textpattern and Textile both support utf-8.

Some relevant FAQs: 1, 2, 3.

Re: Foreign characters and Textile

Thanks zem. I am constantly amazed by the amount of work and documentation on this software.

Note to self: Make it a regular habit to search the FAQs more often.
