Re: Fatal error?
There are several possible causes, there’s not enough information here to know what’s going on.
Could be a corrupt ‘textpattern’ table, or missing files.

Re: Fatal error?
Thank you, Zem. Yes, I freaked out when it happened. I’ve been “running” the site with textpattern for about 9 months and just loving it cause I don’t code and TXP is so nice and easy to change, etc.
When I hit the “SAVE” button just after changing the copy of the linking words on a link to another page in an article using the TXP link, Igot the fatal error message. And for a while that’s all I got but now the site is missing most of the products. It looks like the CSS is intact and access to most of my download files works. Something must have broken.

I need some help. If there is anyone willing to work on this, I’ll pay. Thanks for any suggestions. I have a full back up from last week but I don’t know if I should just over write everything and what about the MSQL database?
Regards, Philip

Re: Fatal error?
OK. Simple is as simple does. Don’t knowwhat happened but simply clicking “Repair” on MySql database fixed everything. Love this textpattern.
For you great coders who make all of this wonderful stuff possible, the texp error log is:
[26-May-2006 11:24:59] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function: parse() in /home/leedergr/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1295
[26-May-2006
Hope this means something to you guys! Thanks.
