Temporary password field for New author
I’m using Textpattern for an offline (intranet) site that has no access to a mailserver. I am unable to add new users to the content editing team because I cannot assign them a temporary password. Textpattern sends the password by email. But we don’t have mailserver access.
Could there be a possibility of having a temporary password field while adding new user and upon logging in the new user can change?

Thanks for your tip. This thread goes in my bookmarks (just in case). My problem was getting a mailserver up and running, which I eventually did. Gory details here.
